Recruiting & Consulting FAQs

As a candidate, do I pay a fee for your services?

No, our candidates never pay a fee; we are hired by our clients to help them recruit and evaluate talent.

What types of roles do you recruit for?

Our areas of expertise are accounting/finance, human resources, executive administration, marketing, and operations management.

What is the best way to get started with BGT?

Sharing a resume with our team is the best way to start establishing a relationship with BGT.  Once your information is received, a member of our team will be in touch to learn a bit more about you and how we may be able to be of assistance.

What is the difference between direct placement and staffing?

A direct placement is a permanent role within a company; staffing focuses on temporary placement or a temp-to-hire placement.  In a temp-to-hire arrangement, you would typically work 600 hours on a temp basis and, assuming both you and the company feel it is the right fit, you would then be offered a permanent role with the company.

Do your clients offer benefits?

Most clients offer benefits although these offerings can vary from company to company.  Benefits can include health/dental/vision and other insurance, PTO/vacation, and retirement/401k, to name a few.

What suggestions does BGT have for managing a successful job search?

Make a good first impression, be prepared to stay in touch with our team, keep your information current, be open to constructive feedback, share your thoughts and insights as you evaluate different opportunities, keep the channel of communication open, be open and transparent…and ask questions!

How long does a job search typically take?

Each and every job search is unique, and there is no set timeline nor can BGT predict how many opportunities might be presented to you for your consideration.  Our advice…be patient and stay in touch with our team.

How and when is my information presented to a BGT client?

Your information is your personal information, and BGT will never share it without your express permission.  With your permission, BGT will share your resume along with specifics of why you are looking and what you are ideally looking for in your next role.
