Our Team

BGT is a woman-owned, veteran-ownded company with a wealth of educational and professional experience to bring to the table. Co-owners Jill Green and Christine Bell have over 46 years of combined experience in human resources and recruiting, coupled with over 24 years combined experience in the accounting field.

Christine Bell, CPA, MBA – Professional Recruiter / Shareholder


Christine graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and an emphasis in Accounting. She began her career at Arthur Andersen in the Assurance practice line and left Andersen after 5 years as an Audit Manager. She obtained her MBA with a concentration in Organizational Development at the George Washington University. Christine Bell is a Shareholder with BGT Recruiting & Consulting, Inc. and a co-owner of BGT Staffing, LLC in Knoxville, Tennessee and currently serves as a consultant for Financial Executives International (FEI) as their Director of Member Services and Chapter Support.
Christine previously served as a Captain in the Finance branch of the U.S. Army Reserves for seven years. Christine is a Certified Public Accountant and served previously on the Board of the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) culminating in her role as the President of the Knoxville Chapter in 2016. In 2012, she was recognized by the Knoxville Business Journal as one of Knoxville’s ‘40 Under 40’ professionals and was also named ‘Woman of the Year’ by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Christine was also recognized as one of the TSCPA’s “2013 Young Leaders to Watch”.  Christine serves on a variety of charitable committees including Zoofari and is a graduate of the 2018 class of Leadership Knoxville. 
Christine and her two daughters, Maddie and Taylor, reside in West Knoxville and her children attend Webb School of Knoxville.
Jill Green – Professional Recruiter / Shareholder

Jill Green graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Organizational Administration and obtained a second degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. During her accounting career, Jill worked within the manufacturing, automotive dealership and distribution industries.

Jill has been actively involved in the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, joining the Knoxville Chamber Board of Directors in 2013, and served as a member of the Executive Committee from 2014 until mid-2019. Jill continues to serve as a Chamber Ambassador, a program she initially joined in 2003, and is currently serving as an Ambassador Dignitary. She also enjoyed multiple years as a member of the Knoxville Chamber’s Economic Development Committee and functioned as Chair of the Knoxville Chamber Membership Committee. Jill is a current member of the United Way of Greater Knoxville’s Board of Directors and actively involved on the UWGA Outward Bound Investments Committee focused on community education initiatives. In 2017, Jill completed the McGhee Tyson Citizen’s Aviation Academy, and she is a proud graduate of the Leadership Knoxville class of 2019, currently serving on the Leadership Knoxville Curriculum Committee. Jill joined the board of the Florence Crittenton Agency in 2018 and was a founding member of the board of the East Tennessee Talent Acquisition Professionals (ETTAP). Jill recently joined the board of Make-A-Wish East Tennessee, focusing on helping raise the organization’s awareness in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Tri-Cities. Jill is a member of Grace Baptist Church, and currently serves as a Co-Chapter Administrator for the Knoxville Chapter of FEI.

Rebecca MacLean – Professional Recruiter

Rebecca MacLeanRebecca MacLean joined BGT in the fall of 2015. Rebecca has a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre/History from Southern Illinois University. Rebecca started her career as a professional actor based in Chicago. She then went on to work in the Public Library system both in Illinois and Knox County Tennessee. In 2010, Rebecca joined RecruitWise as an Account Manager/ Researcher where she quickly moved into an IT Recruiter position where she was one of the highest performing members of the team. Although her focus was previously IT, she also placed Account Executives, Administrative Support Professionals, HR Coordinators, as well as Sales Engineers. Since joining BGT, Rebecca has enjoyed expanding her recruiting to Accounting, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain and Operations professionals.

Rebecca is married to Calvin MacLean and has lived in Knoxville since 2006. 

Alex Lohmann Collings – OFFICE MANAGER

Alex-2014-200x300Alex Lohmann Collings joined BGT as an intern in February 2014 and has been with the office full-time since May 2014.  Alex is originally from Hendersonville, TN and is a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee.  She graduated in May 2014 and majored in Marketing with a collateral in International Business.  Alex oversees the management of the office while also assisting with special projects and consulting.

During her time at UT, Alex was a member and student office worker at the Chancellor’s Honors Program, a volunteer with the UT Athletic Marketing Office and a Campus Representative for the Disney College Program.  In the spring of 2013, Alex participated in the Disney College Program and worked at the front desk of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort in Orlando, Florida.  In her final semester at UT, Alex was a part of the College of Business Senior Gift Committee who had a goal of leaving an enduring legacy after they graduate and raised over $27,000 for the Haslam College of Business.

Alex previously sat on the Endeavor YP Summit Steering Committee, Haslam College of Business Young Alumni Mentor Program and the Knoxville – UT Knoxville Alumni Board as President Emeritus. Alex currently serves as a Co-Chapter Administrator for the Knoxville Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).

Alex and her husband, along with their two Shih Tzus, currently live in Rocky Hill.
