Our Team

BGT is a woman-owned, veteran-owned company with a wealth of educational and professional experience to bring to the table. Co-owners Jill Green and Christine Bell have over 17 years of combined experience in human resources and recruiting, coupled with over 24 years combined experience in the accounting field.

Christine Bell, CPA, MBA – Professional Recruiter/Shareholder

Christine Bell graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with honors and earned a degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. She began her career at Arthur Andersen in the Audit practice line and left Andersen after 5 years as an Audit Manager. She then went back to graduate school to obtain her MBA at George Washington University’s full time program, concentrating her studies on Organizational Development.

Christine previously served as a Captain in the Finance branch of the U.S. Army Reserves for 7 years. Christine is an active CPA and has served on the Board of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) since 2007 in various roles. She is a Chapter Administrator for the Knoxville Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) and she served as the National Co-Chair for the FEI Diversity Communications Committee during 2011 and 2012.

Christine was selected as one of the 2011 Greater Knoxville Business Journal’s ’40 Under 40′ which recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40 who have “excelled in their respective fields, and are making an impact on their professions, workplaces and communities.” In 2012, Christine was named ‘Woman of the Year” by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through her efforts to raise money in honor of two Knoxville children fighting Leukemia. Christine previously served as an Ambassador for Young Professionals of Knoxville as well as on the Vestry for the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church. Christine has 2 daughters, Maddie and Taylor, who attend Webb School of Knoxville.

Jill Green – Professional Recruiter/Shareholder

Jill Green graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Organizational Administration and obtained a second degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. During her accounting career, Jill worked within the manufacturing, automotive dealership and distribution industries.

Jill is actively involved in the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and joined the Knoxville Chamber Board of Directors in 2013.  Additionally, Jill has served as a Chamber Ambassador since 2003, and is currently serving as an Ambassador Dignitary.  She is also a member of the Knoxville Chamber’s Economic Development Committee and is the Chair of the Knoxville Chamber Membership Committee.  Jill serves on the Advisory Board of the East Tennessee Arthritis Foundation, and has been involved with the Jingle Bell Run Committee since 2003. Jill is a member of the United Way of Greater Knoxville’s Board of Directors and is on the UWGA Outward Bound Investments Committee focused on community education initiatives.  Jill was involved with the Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries as an instructor for the Serenity Shelter for nearly ten years. She and her sons are members of Grace Baptist Church, where Jill served as a member of the Charis in Action Leadership Team. Jill enjoyed being part of the Hardin Valley Academy Football Leadership Committee and was very active in supporting team activities from 2015-2018.  Jill currently serves as a Co-Chapter Administrator for the Knoxville Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).

Rebecca MacLean – Professional Recruiter

Rebecca MacLeanRebecca MacLean joined BGT in the fall of 2015. Rebecca has a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre/History from Southern Illinois University. Rebecca started her career as a professional actor based in Chicago. She then went on to work in the Public Library system both in Illinois and Knox County Tennessee. In 2010, Rebecca joined RecruitWise as an Account Manager/ Researcher where she quickly moved into an IT Recruiter position where she was one of the highest performing members of the team. Although her focus was previously IT, she also placed Account Executives, Administrative Support Professionals, HR Coordinators, as well as Sales Engineers. Since joining BGT, Rebecca has enjoyed expanding her recruiting to Accounting, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain and Operations professionals.

Rebecca is married to Calvin MacLean and has lived in Knoxville since 2006. Knoxville has been a great place to raise their two children, Rachael and Sam.

Alex Lohmann Collings – Marketing & Consulting Coordinator

Alex-2014-200x300Alex Lohmann Collings joined BGT as an intern in February 2014 and has been with the office full-time since May 2014.  Alex is originally from Hendersonville, TN and is a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee.  She graduated in May 2014 and majored in Marketing with a collateral in International Business.  Alex oversees the marketing initiatives of BGT while also assisting with special projects and consulting.

During her time at UT, Alex was a member and student office worker at the Chancellor’s Honors Program, a volunteer with the UT Athletic Marketing Office, and a Campus Representative for the Disney College Program.  In the spring of 2013, Alex participated in the Disney College Program and worked at the front desk of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort in Orlando, FL.  In her final semester at UT, Alex was a part of the College of Business Senior Gift Committee who had a goal of leaving an enduring legacy after they graduate and raised over $27,000 for the Haslam College of Business. Alex sat on the Endeavor YP Summit Steering Committee for 3 years is the President Emeritus of the Knoxville – UT Knoxville Alumni Board. Alex currently serves as a Co-Chapter Administrator for the Knoxville Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).

Alex and her husband currently live in Hardin Valley.
